Im Sommer begeistert der Park uns wegen seiner nat\u00fcrlichen Frische und K\u00fchle, was etwas v\u00f6llig anderes ist, als die k\u00fcnstlichen Klimaanlagen. Der Park ist eine dominante Gegebenheit des Orts Dobrna und ist f\u00fcr den Ort eine kostbare Perle des unersetzlichen Naturerbes. Die Parks sind ein Abbild des menschlichen Wunsches nach der Erschlie\u00dfung der Natur und Dobrna war einer der ersten Thermalorte, der einen eigenen Park hatte.<br \/>\nDie Anf\u00e4nge des Thermalparks in Dobrna gehen ungef\u00e4hr auf das Jahr 1820 zur\u00fcck, als der damalige Eigent\u00fcmer des Thermalbads, Xaver Kajetan Graf von Dienersberg, eine Kastanienallee anpflanzen lie\u00df.<br \/>\nIn gerader Linie verband sie das Kurhaus mit dem Ort Dobrna. N\u00f6rdlich dieser Achse befanden sich damals noch landwirtschaftlich genutzte Fl\u00e4chen der Familie Novak, die mit ihrem Gastst\u00e4ttengewerbe die G\u00e4ste des Thermalbads anzogen. S\u00fcdlich der Achse f\u00fchrte der Rasen bis zum Wald. Zwischen der Allee und dem n\u00f6rdlichen Weg befand sich anfangs nur eine gerade Grasfl\u00e4che, die nur der Bach Topli\u0161ki potok oder Topli\u010dica (wie ihn die Einheimischen heute nennen) durchquerte. Schon in den folgenden Jahrzehnten wurden Anpflanzungen im Park errichtet. Entscheidend waren die Jahre 1847-1848, als die Verwaltung des Thermalbads Graf Hoyos \u00fcbernahm. Baumgruppen erg\u00e4nzen das dekorative Geb\u00fcsch, neue Pfade und Rastpl\u00e4tze entstehen. Besonders die vorbildlich gekennzeichneten B\u00e4ume sind eine Besonderheit des Parks und bieten den Besuchern vielf\u00e4ltige botanische Erkenntnisse. Kastanien \u00fcberwiegen im Park, man findet aber auch viele andere Baumarten, wie Eschen-ahorn, Birke, Pr\u00e4chtiger Trompetenbaum, Riesen-Lebensbaum, Blutbuche, Steh-Fichte, Platane, Silber-Pappel, Zerr-Eiche, Stieleiche, Eibe, Abendl\u00e4ndischer Lebensbaum, Hiba-Lebensbaum, Hemlocktanne usw. Die Silber-Pappel in der N\u00e4he des Kurhauses hat einen Baumumfang von 515 Zentimetern und belegt somit Platz drei der bisher bekannten Pappeln in Slowenien. Kurz dahinter liegt die Platane bei \u0160vicarija (Schweizerei) mit einem Baumumfang von 464 Zentimetern und der Riesen-Lebensbaum br\u00fcstet sich mit einem Umfang von 280 Zentimetern. Der lebendige Bach Topli\u0161ki potok ist v\u00f6llig nat\u00fcrlich in die Parkfl\u00e4chenordnung integriert. Im Park sind viele B\u00e4nke zum Ausruhen aufgestellt und man findet dort sogar einen kleinen Pavillon, in welchem eine kleinere Gruppe sitzen oder Karten spielen kann. In der modernen Zeit wurde auch ein Kinderspielplatz errichtet und im s\u00fcdlichen Teil wurde ein Tennisplatz erbaut. Der Park geht im s\u00fcdlichen und n\u00f6rdlichen Teil in den Naturwald der Nadelb\u00e4ume \u00fcber, wo auch ein Trimmpfad angelegt wurde. Durch den Ort flie\u00dft der Bach Dobrnica, welchen wir unter diesem Namen auf der Karte zum ersten Mal bei der Zlodej-M\u00fchle in Klanc erblicken, wo die beiden B\u00e4che \u0160ume\u010dnica und Ka\u010dnica zusammenflie\u00dfen. Man kann sie besser besichtigen, wenn man in Richtung Hudi\u010dev graben (Teufelsgraben) spazieren geht. Man erholt sich und tankt neue Kraft beim lebendigen Durchfluss und dem angenehmen Gepl\u00e4tscher, wobei einen die vielf\u00e4ltige Flora an den Ufern
